Save the date for CMV2012 - The combined meetings of the Congenital CMV Conference and the CMV Betaherpesvirus Workshop will be held October 29 to November 2, 2012 in San Francisco, California at the Mission Bay Conference Center, a unique venue in the breathtaking new biotech hub of the University of California, San Francisco.

Scientists, public health officials, policy makers, industry representatives, and individuals affected by congenital CMV infection will meet together to discuss the latest findings and the most pressing and urgent issues on the biology, epidemiology, clinical effects, diagnosis, treatment and prevention strategies for CMV infection and disease.

2010 International Congenital CMV Conference - Paris, France

2010 International Congenital CMV Conference – “Congenital CMV Infection, a Preventable and Curable Disease”

The 3rd Conference will be held at Paris Descartes University, in the heart of the Latin Quarter of Paris. It follows on two successful editions held in Orvieto, Italy in 2006 and in Atlanta, USA in 2008. All aspects from basic science to pre and postnatal clinical management of this condition will be covered. The third edition will coincide with the reporting of several therapeutic clinical trials and therefore the theme of the 2010 conference will be: “Congenital CMV infection, a preventable and curable disease”. Sessions will be made of scientific communications together with state-of-the-art lectures and debates.

2008 International Congenital CMV Conference - Atlanta, Georgia

2008 International Congenital CMV Conference – “Public Health Action towards Awareness, Prevention and Treatment”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Congenital CMV Foundation are pleased to sponsor the 2008 Congenital CMV Conference, to be held at the CDC in Atlanta, GA on November 5-7, 2008. The conference will bring together an international community of scientists, academics, practitioners, and families to discuss congenital CMV research findings and how they can be translated into public health action that will improve outcomes for women and children. Conference topics will focus on public health issues and initiatives, such as raising awareness of congenital CMV, establishing testing and screening standards, advancing treatment options, proposing preventative guidelines, and promoting vaccine initiatives.
